Things to do during quarantine: Creative activities with your children
Below are some very easy-to-do indoor activities for families in quarantine as recommended by our Kids Club Manager:
Send a hug
Send a hug to someone you love but cannot visit during the quarantine by having your child lie down on a piece of paper and then draw the outline with a marker. Then draw the child’s face and clothes, add color, stickers and write your wishes. Once completed you can fold it and send it by post to your loved ones.
Fill a small basin with water, drop some toys in and put in the freezer overnight. Next day, once the water has turned into ice and “trapped” the toys inside, ask your child to save them by melting the ice with warm water or breaking the ice with makeshift tools.
