Greek Cuisine Week
Take the unique opportunity to learn everything you need to know about modern and traditional Greek cuisine.
Every day between 13:00-14:00 our executive chef, Elias Gotsis and his team will offer cooking lessons to guests at the outstandingly beautiful vinum restaurant, which features a beautiful open kitchen. A different, unique recipe will be presented every day. After cooking, you will enjoy the fruit of your labor combining them with tastings of the best Greek wines that pair well with the dishes presented.
Greek Wine Festival
Learn more about Greek wines with a different presentation and wine tasting every day. Specialists from the most celebrated Greek wineries will be at Eagles Palace Hotel to present their wines, answer questions and offer their unique experiences about the makings of a great bottle of wine.
Participants include such prestigious greek labels as: Ktima Pavlidis, Ktima Skouras, Ktima Argiropoulos, Ktima Gerovasiliou, Ktima Alfa.
A master of Wine at Eagles Palace Hotel

Lazarakis Konstantinos, the only Greek certified Master of Wine, will be at Eagles Palace Hotel to offer guests his unique insight on Greek wines.
After studying jazz guitar and mechanical engineering on the National & Technical University of Athens, Konstantinos Lazarakis became Sommelier of Jajazzo Restaurant in Athens - the first restaurant in Greece to hire a full time sommelier and the first to be awarded a Michelin star. Now Mr Lazarakis works as an Imports Manager and Wine Buyer in AIOLOS ltd and the Managing Director of Wine and Spirits Professional Consultants that run WSET courses in Greece. In the last two years he has been involved in wine writing and wine journalism and writes for four Greek publications as well as having "Wines of Greece" published as a part of the Mitchell Beazley Classic Wine Library in Sept. 2005.
Mr Lazarakis will meet the guests at the hotel’s beautiful patio, where they will sample wines of his choice by the best greek vineyards. He will be there to present the wines and answer all guests questions, and offer advice and examples of what a great wine is all about. Following the wine tastings, a gourmet six course dinner will take place at the Kamares restaurant, where each course will be accompanied by a different wine, chosen expertly by Mr. Lazarakis himself.
A taste of Thessaloniki
For two weeks in July and August, a different restaurant from Thessaloniki pops up at Eagles Palace Hotel. The most celebrated and trendy restaurants in town will take over Eagles Palace Hotel’s Vinum restaurant, offering guests a unique experience of Greek restaurants that are hot right now.
